Admissions

We know that deciding which school is right for your child’s education is a hugely important choice and we thank you for considering Great Ouse Primary Academy.

Our school does not have a catchment area, meaning that there isn’t a specific geographical area around the school from which applications are taken. We have 60 places in each year group and there are prioritised according to the School’s Admissions Policy [link to policy to be added].  

We work with Bedford Borough Council who manage and administer the admissions process. All applications should go through Bedford Borough Council.

In-year Admissions   

If you are interested in applying for an in-year school place, please contact the School Office in the first instance.  

All in-year applications for school places are organised by Bedford Borough Council School admissions, regardless of where you live. Please visit Bedford Borough’s website for further information.  

Pre-School Admissions 

Pre-School places are allocated according to the Pre-School Admissions Policy.
