Our Vision

All children are welcome at Great Ouse Primary Academy, and all are valued. We believe that every child deserves an exceptional education – an education which challenges, stretches and inspires every child, developing a genuine love of learning. We have high expectations including academic achievement, behaviour, attendance, and participation.

We nurture self-belief in every child, helping them to recognise their strengths, embrace challenges, and foster perseverance. We celebrate effort and achievements, encouraging children to take pride in their progress and to see mistakes as opportunities for growth.

We encourage children to be curious and to ask questions, explore new ideas, and be excited by the unknown. By combining the teaching of the National Curriculum with exciting opportunities to enjoy new experiences and learn about fascinating topics, we help children see learning not as a task, but as a lifelong adventure.

Finally, our vision is for the children we teach is not just to do well, but to do good. This means understanding their role in the community, caring for others, and taking ownership of their actions. We help them to develop integrity, empathy and a strong sense of justice – so they grow into thoughtful, respectful citizens.

Our aim is to be a genuine community school, supporting our families and working together to ensure our children succeed.
